3	The frame is made of T.W members and the panel may be of teak planks or plywood.	The core is of hard wood battens with 2 or 3 mm plywood on both sides.
4	Teak wood is much better in water resistance and chances of wet rot are only in extreme condition.	Since flush door is a kind of plywood, unless it is made for water resistance, is likely to get damaged in wet conditions.
5	T.W panel door can be polished.	Flush door can be polished but will not look attractive unless veneer is pasted.
6	Lipping on the edge not required as the edge is of T.W.	Lipping on the edge is required.
7	Relatively costly.	Relatively cheap.
