Stones used as interior materials.
                                                 Stone is a natural material and it is easily available in nature. It can be dressed and finished. It is available in various colours.

Uses of various stones as ‘Interior Materials’, are as follows.
a)     Granite: It is used for wall cladding, flooring, tabletops, inlay work,
      handrails, kitchen platforms, sills, sinks, door-frames, sit-outs  etc.
b)     Marble: It is also used for wall cladding, flooring, inlay works, tabletops, handrails, sills, statues, door-frames, & sculptures etc.
c)     Basalt: It is used for rubble masonry,
      features in landscaping, compound walls, water bodies etc.
d)    Jaisalmer: It is used for flooring, wall cladding, tabletops, inlay works etc.
e)     Kotta:  It is used for flooring, wall cladding, inlay work etc.
f)     Shahabad: It is mostly used for flooring.
g)    Slate stone: It is mostly used for wall cladding.
h)     Kadappa: It is used for shelves, kitchen platforms, benches etc.
i)      Tandoor : It is used for flooring, sills, cladding, tabletops &
      platforms.
